To bring the art of dance to the people of our community, while honoring the historical roots and paying homage to the pioneers
of this industry upon whose shoulders we stand upon. We aim to give all of our students a well rounded dance education
and training rooted in building confidence, instilling discipline, and strengthen endurance.
Dance is a universal language, that has the power to unify us all.
OUR STORY
Faith With Works School Of Dance was founded by Jasmine Machel Perkins in the summer of 2014. Her goal was to create a place where the art of dance could be experienced in its fullness. As a Portsmouth, VA native it was her desire to bring this company to her hometown, originally housed in Chesapeake, VA in 2016 we moved to Portsmouth, VA. Faith With Works School Of Dance teaches various genres of dance to children and adults of all levels who have a desire to experience the dance floor like never before. Founded on the principals of faith, eight years later we continue to impact lives all over the Hampton Roads Area daily and we are grateful to God to be able to do so.

Fundamental tools (Barre, Technique, Combinations) alongside rhythmical percussive combinations.
